A driver in a racing car performed repeated drifts on the Linopetra roundabout in Limassol as flares were lit around him, with the roundabout’s exits apparently blocked by tow trucks, according to a video posted on social media on Sunday.
Limassol traffic police told philenews they had not been informed of the incident and had received no complaint.
The video was posted with the caption “Just Married”, suggesting it was linked to a wedding.
The footage shows the car sliding sideways around the roundabout again and again while flares burn. One person appears to be standing in the road at the same time.
Tow trucks appear to have been placed at the exits to stop other vehicles entering while the driver carried on.
