Police are investigating an incident at a concrete factory in Tseri, where a concrete mixer driver injured a striking worker while attempting to exit the premises on Tuesday.
According to police statements, non-striking employees at the factory attempted to transport concrete in their vehicles when union members and strikers blocked the facility’s entrance.
The injured striker was taken by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital with multiple fractures. He was treated and later discharged.
Police are continuing their investigation and taking statements to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
