A lottery player in Nicosia has claimed a €4.2 million Joker jackpot, of which approximately €800,000 will go to the state in taxes.
The winner came forward to OPAP today to begin the claims process, according to philenews. The winning ticket was purchased for just €6 at Stavros Papastavrou’s lottery agency in Latsia.
The winning numbers from draw number 2831 were 5, 9, 42, 40, 45 with Joker number 5.
OPAP Cyprus has announced that the next Joker draw on November 14 will have a minimum first prize of €1 million.
