Giorgos Perris will represent Cyprus at the 71st Eurovision Song Contest in Burgas, Bulgaria, next May, CyBC announced on Wednesday.
The announcement was made on CyBC 1’s morning show ‘Omorfi Mera’.
The contest’s three live shows will take place at Arena Burgas in the Black Sea city. The first semi-final is scheduled for Tuesday, 11 May, the second for Thursday, 13 May, and the grand final for Saturday, 15 May 2027.
The song Perris will perform and the team that will appear with him on stage have not yet been announced. More details on the Cypriot entry are expected in the coming weeks.
