Just a few kilometres outside Nicosia, in the Palaiometocho area, sits The Royal Goat Farm. What began as a farm with citrus groves, olive trees and fruit orchards has gradually grown to include vegetable gardens, greenhouses, and enclosures for goats, sheep and poultry, creating a production ecosystem that brings together elements of the Cypriot countryside.

The farm runs a small dairy unit where traditional Cypriot cheeses such as halloumi, anari and halitzi are produced, as well as a wood-fired oven for baking bread and other baked goods.

The farm takes a farm-to-table approach: ingredients are produced on site, transport is minimal, and the focus is on flavour and authenticity. This shapes the dining experience at The Barn restaurant, where meals reflect what the land produces.
On Saturdays, brunch is served with fresh bread, cheeses, cold cuts and jams made on the farm. On Sundays, the traditional “T’ antamoma” meal is offered. Booking is essential.
