Torrential rain is affecting traffic on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway on Thursday afternoon, and police are urging drivers to take care.
The rain began at around 2.30pm on the stretch between the Tseri and Pera Chorio Nisou area and Kornos. Visibility is limited, and water is running and building up on parts of the motorway, making the road surface slippery.
Police advised drivers to keep to a safe, low speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front and drive with their headlights on.
