Cyprus will see mostly clear skies today, though localised increased cloud will develop over the mountains in the early afternoon.
Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, initially light at force 3, gradually increasing to moderate at force 3 to 4, and reaching strong force 5 locally on the south coast in the afternoon. The sea will be smooth to slight.
Temperatures will reach around 39 degrees inland, around 31 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 35 on the remaining coasts, and around 30 degrees on the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will remain mostly clear, although localised increased cloud is expected over the mountains after midday, which could bring isolated rain, mainly on Tuesday and Thursday.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly, remaining above average climatological values.
