A group of livestock breeders is protesting outside the Veterinary Services in Nicosia, demanding compensation for those affected by the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak.
The protesters have blocked the entrance to the Veterinary Services, calling for the immediate payment of outstanding compensation.
According to reports, the group is a small number of livestock traders who have not yet received any compensation.
It remains unclear how long the protest will last.
