Cyprus Airways will launch a daily direct service between Larnaca and London Stansted on April 23, 2027, the airline announced on Wednesday.
The year-round route will strengthen direct links between Cyprus and Britain, which the airline described as historically one of the island’s most important travel markets.

“The United Kingdom is a particularly important market for Cyprus,” chief executive Thanos Pascalis said. He added that there was strong demand from leisure and business travellers and from people visiting friends and relatives, and that the new route would give customers greater choice and flexibility.

The London service follows the airline’s recent announcement of new year-round routes to Munich and Rome Fiumicino.
Cyprus Airways also operates year-round scheduled flights to Paris, Milan Malpensa, Athens and Heraklion, as well as seasonal summer flights to Barcelona, Venice and several Greek islands. In the Middle East, it flies year-round to Tel Aviv, Beirut and Dubai, with other routes operated on a charter basis.
The airline, operated by Charlie Airlines Ltd and based at Larnaca International Airport, flies Airbus A320 and A220 aircraft and employs more than 210 people.
Flights are available to book on the Cyprus Airways website and app and through travel agents.
