Firefighters were called to a fire that broke out in the Arsos community, Limassol, on Thursday afternoon.
The fire is believed to have started at a rubbish dump, according to initial reports.

Aircraft already on patrol in the area at the time joined the firefighting effort, with four aircraft now involved in total and more expected to arrive.
Five fire engines from the city and Limassol district fire stations are tackling the blaze, along with six from the Forest Department, while two bulldozers have been sent to support the operation.
