Nicosia Municipal Theatre has launched a monthly wine programme featuring rotating Cypriot wineries at its bar, beginning with Zambartas Winery’s October residency that runs through 31 October.
The initiative titled “From vine to stage” pairs contemporary artistic performances with Cypriot wine through a partnership between Nicosia For Art and Winecore, the Cyprus Winemakers Consortium.
Each month, a different winery will supply wines served at the theatre bar whilst hosting a certified tasting event where audiences can sample wines, learn their production stories and enjoy light bites.
Zambartas Winery will hold the inaugural “Cypriot Vineyard Evening” on 23 October from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets cost €12 for the 30-seat tasting event, with reservations available at 22797979.
The programme began on 30 September, introducing wine to the Nicosia International Festival 2025 experience for the first time.
Nicosia For Art operates the three-month performing arts festival at Nicosia Municipal Theatre, presenting theatre, music and contemporary dance alongside educational programming.
