Police have issued arrest warrants for four men in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Potamia on 6 January 2025, authorities announced today.
The suspects are wanted for questioning over attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a felony and aiding illegal entry, transit and residence in the Republic of Cyprus.
The police identified the suspects as Alain Martial Tchantchou, 39, from Cameroon, and three Turkish Cypriots: Coskun Alaslan, 31, Atilla Alaslan, 22, and Halil Alaslan, 62.
Authorities urged anyone with information that could lead to their whereabouts to contact the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department at 22-802222, their nearest police station, or the Citizens’ Hotline at 1460.
