The re-arrested life-sentenced convict Doros Theofanous and the 26-year-old who assisted in his escape are currently being brought before the Paphos District Court.
The spokesperson for the Police Headquarters, Christos Andreou, told philenews that the investigation of the case has been completed, with all necessary testimonies collected, and a request is being made for the direct referral of the two individuals to the Criminal Court.
The police are also requesting that both the 42-year-old convict and his 26-year-old accomplice remain in custody until the case is heard in court.
