The Fire Service and the Police were mobilised following a fire that broke out within the grounds of Ayia Fyla Secondary School in Limassol on Tuesday.
Pupils believed to be wearing hoods are suspected of throwing tyres into the schoolyard and setting them alight.
School staff responded quickly with fire extinguishers to contain the blaze, and firefighters from the Forest Department extinguished the remaining flames.
This is the second incident of this nature reported in Limassol secondary schools recently.
