The ILCA 7 (Laser) medal race at the Paris Olympic Games has been postponed again due to light winds which means that Cyprus’s Pavlos Kontides will have to wait for at least another two hours to compete.
The race was scheduled to start at 2:10 p.m. but has been postponed to 4:10 p.m. Cyprus time, according to the Cyprus Olympic Committee.

There is still a possibility that the race could take place tomorrow Thursday, if the winds don’t gain pace today.
Yesterday’s race was also cancelled before athletes endured three hours on the beach to find out if they could run.
A complete cancellation would see Kontides secure the silver medal based on the current standings.
Kontides, a two-time European champion, has won Cyprus’s only Olympic medal to date after grabbing silver in the 2012 games in London.
