Cypriot sprint champion Olivia Fotopoulou has gone through to the 100 meters semi-finals of the Rome European Championships, with her best race of the season.
Running in morning humid conditions, Fotopoulou came in 3rd in the 2nd heat, clocking 11 seconds 27, the 6th best time out of the 14 athletes that have progressed, including Greek Emanouilidou, who came in at 11.21, winning the 3rd heat.
