The final preference vote results for the 56 MPs elected to Cyprus’s new House of Representatives were confirmed in the early hours of Monday.
Dimitris M. Dimitriou of DISY received the most preference votes nationwide, winning the election in the Nicosia district with 13,157 votes.
At the other end of the scale, Dimitris Baros of Direct Democracy Cyprus secured a seat in the Paphos district with the fewest preference votes among the candidates elected to the new House.
Baros, 24, was elected with 280 votes, the lowest total among those entering parliament.
