The works under way and planned for the Latsia–Geri municipality are moving in the right direction, and we can only welcome them. That said, we cannot let pass the need for the services and companies involved to coordinate with one another — and to stop closing roads simultaneously.
Some of the closures were mercifully brief, but still enough to cause real disruption.
We also note that no one has seen fit to remove the speed bumps installed — for no discernible reason other than to wreck residents’ vehicles.
As for the works as a whole, the verdict will come when they’re finished.
