Τhe Department of Public Works is cleaning storm drains and ditches on the hard shoulders in an area of the Limassol-Nicosia highway from Skarinou to Yermasoyia in both directions.
Work begun at 7 this morning and will continue right through to 4 in the afternoon, with the department closing the shoulders at a distance of 200 metres each time, as traffic carries on normally.
Police are advising caution to drivers passing through, complying with the relevant road signs to prevent collisions until necessary anti-flooding work is completed.
