Heavy rainfall has caused disruption to road traffic in Nicosia on Friday, police said.
Significant water accumulation has been reported on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue in the Strovolos area, near the APOEL training grounds, according to a police statement.
The conditions have resulted in heavy traffic congestion, and motorists are being urged to exercise caution and avoid the area unless absolutely necessary.
Police and the Fire Service are currently at the scene working to restore traffic flow and drain the water from the road surface.
