Thieves have stolen Christmas decorations from public spaces in Kokkinotrimithia, the local Community Council announced.
The decorations were taken from two locations in the village, where they had been installed for the holiday season, the Council said in a statement on Monday.
“These decorations were put up with care and love to create a warm and festive atmosphere for everyone,” the statement said, calling for public assistance in identifying those responsible.
The Council urged residents with any information about the incident to contact them confidentially, while appealing for respect towards community efforts to celebrate the festive season.
“Such incidents deprive everyone of the joy and beauty that holiday decorations bring to our community,” the Council added.
