A group of 30 students from a top-10 Chinese university have completed a two-week exchange programme at the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) campus in Paphos.

The programme, which focused on archaeology, history, culture, and Greek language studies, concluded yesterday with a graduation ceremony where students received their completion certificates.

Paphos city councillor Alexandros Jiang and TEPAK board member Alexandros Taliotis presented the certificates to the students, who were accompanied by their professors throughout their stay.

During their visit, the students toured archaeological sites in Paphos and expressed particular interest in the student-run restaurant at TEPAK’s Paphos campus.

Jiang announced that 200 more students from the same Chinese university are expected to arrive in February for a similar educational programme. He emphasised the importance of this educational partnership for both countries, the city of Paphos, and TEPAK’s tourism school.
