Cattle breeders in Aradippou have gathered in the SopaZ area to block the culling of animals by the Veterinary Services. The police are present at the scene, as the breeders made it clear that they will not allow the slaughter of asymptomatic animals.
It is worth noting that during a large event in Choirokitia, breeders issued an ultimatum to the government, demanding action by Thursday, 12 March. Their demands include halting the culling of asymptomatic animals, vaccinating all livestock, and providing immediate compensation to those affected.
