The Shin Bet home security service has implemented a plan to raise security for senior political, defense, and intelligence officials, the Ynet news site reported.
The plan, which cannot be fully detailed publicly, involves special deployment measures and operational procedures prepared in case of war.
It is implemented amid fears that Tehran will target top Israeli leaders after strikes took out much of Iran’s top defense brass.
Meanwhile, the security cabinet is set to meet in an underground bunker tonight at 10 amid ongoing strikes on Iran for a 2nd day running.
