Israel has increased its alert level across its territory, where only so-called “essential” activities are permitted until further notice, following the American attack, according to a military announcement.
“With the approval of Defense Minister Israel Katz and following a situational assessment, it was decided that as of today (Sunday) at 03:45 [local time and Cyprus time], all areas of the country will shift from ‘partial’ or ‘limited activity’ to ‘essential activity’,” which includes “a prohibition on educational activities, gatherings, and activities in workplaces, except for essential sectors,” the announcement states.
