The developments surrounding the two energy projects will once again come under the scrutiny of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy.
On the 28th of the month, the Committee will convene in an extraordinary session to be briefed on the developments concerning the LNG terminal at Vasiliko and the electricity interconnection between Cyprus, Greece, and Israel via the Great Sea lnterconnector submarine cable.
The Minister of Energy, the leadership of CERA, the Deputy Minister to the President, the Auditor General, the Directors-General of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, and Energy, a representative of the Law Office, the Chairman of the Board, and the General Manager of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) will attend the meeting.
Additionally, the Vice President and Managing Director of DEFA and the Vice President and Managing Director of ETYFA, the Executive Director of the Transmission System Operator of Cyprus (TSOC), representatives of the Distribution System Operator (DSO), ETEK, OEB, KEVE, and POVEK, as well as consumer representatives, have been invited to attend.
