Hundreds of thousands of households across Ukraine lost electricity on Sunday after Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in four regions overnight, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
In a Telegram post, Zelenskiy accused Russia of intensifying its attacks to exploit Ukraine’s shortage of interceptors capable of stopping ballistic missiles.
“The intensity of the strikes is very high, and the Russians are seeking to maximally exploit the deficit of ballistic missile interceptors,” the Ukrainian president said.
