Torrential rain has been falling in several parts of Cyprus since Wednesday morning, particularly in Larnaca.
Police urged drivers to take extra care in the Kofinou area, where the rain has limited visibility. Drivers have been asked to keep their speed down and leave a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
Parts of Larnaca and Paphos were also left without power after a fault on the network.
A yellow warning for severe thunderstorms and hail remains in force.
