Shots were fired at a building in the Linopetra area of Limassol late on Wednesday night, causing damage to glass sections of the property, police said. The incident occurred at around 10:50 pm.

Philenews sources said the building belongs to a 60-year-old Ukrainian man who has Cypriot citizenship, and houses the offices of a group of companies active in real estate, investment and technology.

Residents heard the gunfire and alerted the authorities. Police are investigating the incident and examining CCTV footage in an effort to identify the two perpetrators, who were on a motorcycle.

The shots appear to have damaged the glass at the building’s main entrance, as well as a first-floor window. Five shell casings were found at the scene.

Limassol CID is continuing its investigation into the case.
