Cyprus offers a full slate of cultural events today, from open-air film screenings in Nicosia and Ayia Napa to art exhibitions across the island and new releases now showing in cinemas.
Screenings
Nicosia, Constantia Open-Air Cinema, 9pm. The 27th Summer Screenings Marathon runs every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until September 13. Tonight’s screening is Fatih Akin’s historical drama The Cut. In 1915, during the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire, young blacksmith Nazaret Manoukian is violently separated from his family.
