A fire that broke out near the community of Marathounta in the Paphos district on Wednesday afternoon is now manageable and controlled around its perimeter, according to the latest update.
Fire Service crews are carrying out final mop-up operations and working to fully delineate the fire’s boundary. The blaze has burnt a total area of around four hectares.
The cause of the fire will be investigated once it is fully extinguished, in cooperation with police.
