MP Irene Charalambidou and the Alma movement are close to announcing a cooperation agreement, according to information available to Phileleftheros.
Charalambidou met with Alma’s secretariat on Tuesday evening for initial talks centred on fighting corruption. Both sides said they want to work together and agreed to meet again on Monday, when a final announcement is expected.
Sources say the outcome will be positive — but any arrangement will stop short of Charalambidou joining Alma. She has said repeatedly that she wants to stay true to her political path whilst keeping her freedom of expression.
