A British woman, a permanent resident of Paphos, was struck by a vehicle last night on Makarios Avenue in Geroskipou.
Initial reports indicate that the woman was attempting to cross the avenue when, under circumstances being investigated, a vehicle driven a 64-year-old woman hit and injured her.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Paphos Hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment and is reported to be out of danger.
