The Department of Information Technology Services has issued a warning to the contractor company responsible for the e-justice system, giving them a deadline of five working days to resolve the issues that have arisen; otherwise, the contract will be terminated.

This was recently reported to the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs by Neofytos Papadopoulos, the director of the Deputy Ministry of Innovation.

According to the contract, he stated, if the problems are not resolved, the contract can be terminated.

He added that the issues involve three main aspects:

  1. Functional problems
  2. Performance issues of the system
  3. Payment system failure.

Mr. Papadopoulos clarified that there is no question of comparing i-justice with e-justice.
