The coastline of Yeroskipou, primarily the section in front of the new beachfront kiosks, has become a new daily gathering spot for Paphos residents year-round, especially the younger generation, even during the off-season when their parents used to gather for their customary afternoon and evening gatherings at the Kato Paphos promenade.
Hundreds of Paphos residents now create a buzzing atmosphere daily with the arrival of summer, strolling and socialising in the area, making Yeroskipou Beach one of the most popular destinations in the Paphos region.
This change followed the enhancement of services along the beachfront, with the construction of modern restroom facilities near the three snack bars in the area, the improvement of road lighting, and landscaping of the wider area.
These functional and aesthetic improvements to the seafront of the second most populous municipality in Paphos have had a visible and profound impact on visitor numbers.
Yeroskipou Beach now experiences daily crowding, both from swimmers and other visitors who enjoy a walk by the sea or the scenery of the area from their parked vehicles.
