Performance

Nicosia, Nicosia Dance House, 8:30pm. Arianna Oikonomou and Echo Arts present “Heart’s Sacred Touch,” a work moving between ritual, music and experiential performance, exploring reconciliation with death, memory and the human soul. Theatre

Nicosia, Melina Mercouri Hall. “The Man Who Broke the Code,” directed by Eleni Anastasiou. Hugh Whitemore’s play explores the life of Alan Turing, widely regarded as the father of modern computing and a founding figure of artificial intelligence. Screening

Nicosia, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, 8pm. The museum’s rooftop becomes a film club for three evenings, hosting artistic film and video from the Middle East, North Africa, Greece and Cyprus, curated by Róisín Tapponi, founder of Shasha Movies. The programme, titled “Only Terrestrial,” opens tonight with: Same Water (2024, 14′), Stelios Kallinikos; The Angel of Recording (2025, 17′), Danae Ho; Sunlight Vandalism (2018, 8′), Marina Xenofontos.
