Lumière Contemporary Art Gallery will present La Street c’est Chic, a photographic exhibition documenting street art across three continents, opening on 24 October at 7:00 p.m. and running until 15 November.

Photographer Christina Drakos has spent more than 15 years capturing urban murals, graffiti and street interventions across Latin America, Europe and Asia, creating a visual record of ephemeral public art from Brazilian favelas to Parisian alleyways.

The exhibition presents her work as a box of unbound photographs rather than a traditional bound volume, with each print functioning as an independent piece within what the gallery describes as a global conversation about public art.

Drakos’s photographs span locations including Buenos Aires, Bali and Singapore, documenting street art as a form of public expression that exists outside institutional frameworks.

Drakos holds the EFIAP distinction from the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique and has received international photography awards. Her work examines the intersection between art and public space, focusing on creative expression that exists outside conventional gallery systems.

The exhibition documents urban art created across different cities and cultures over a decade and a half of travel. The gallery describes the collection as a visual archive of street-level artistic expression from multiple countries.

The opening reception takes place on 24 October at 7:00 p.m., with the exhibition remaining on view through 15 November at Lumière Contemporary Art Gallery in Limassol.
