Cypriot swimmer Karolina Pelendritou has qualified for the 100m breaststroke final at the Paralympic Games.
Pelendritou finished first in her qualifying heat with a time of 1:25.29. She ranks third overall behind Daria Lukyanenko and Ma Jia.

The final is scheduled for later today at 19:34 (Cyprus time). It will be broadcast live by the CyBC.
Pelendritou is aiming for her eighth Paralympic medal.
She has already won the silver medal in this year’s tournament in the 50m freestyle event.
