Shuli Davidovich is Israel’s new ambassador to Cyprus, the Israeli embassy announced in a video posted on social media on Tuesday.
In a short statement accompanying the video, Davidovich said that from today she would “proudly wear this pin featuring the flags of Israel and Cyprus”, calling it a symbol of the friendship and close ties between the two countries.
She said she looked forward to assuming her duties as ambassador and to working to further strengthen the partnership, deepen cooperation and bring the two peoples even closer together.
