Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will visit Cyprus on Sunday to upgrade bilateral relations, with a joint partnership document among the expected deliverables, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said.
Briefing journalists at the Presidential Palace, Letymbiotis said that during a previous meeting between President Nikos Christodoulides and Meloni, the two sides had agreed to begin discussions on a joint partnership document.
The conditions now exist, he said, to set out the progress made in a more concrete political and operational plan.
