Limassol CID investigators have identified the organiser of a Halloween party at a beachfront venue in the city where more than 13 teenagers aged 15 to 17 were taken to hospital after drinking alcohol. The organiser is expected to be called to give a statement and then charged, Phileleftheros understands.

The owner of the venue will also be called to give a statement. Dozens of minors drank alcohol at the party.

A 16-year-old boy injured during the party remains in Makarios Hospital with a fractured skull. He reportedly fell to the ground, and police are investigating how it happened.

Police are investigating offences relating to the illegal admission of minors to a nightclub and the illegal sale of alcohol to minors.

Investigators are also looking into information that some of the teenagers had allegedly bought bottles of vodka and poured their own drinks during the party. Among other lines of inquiry, the authorities are examining whether the alcohol was adulterated.

Investigators are continuing to take statements from parents and pupils who attended.
