A driver hit a railing on the Kofinou-Agios Theodoros road in Larnaca district on Wednesday night, in a crash that happened around 8.35pm and remains under investigation.
Trapped inside the vehicle, he was freed by a vehicle and rescue team from the Fire Service’s Disaster Response Unit (EMAK) using specialist equipment, then handed to an ambulance crew who took him to hospital. According to information available, he was given first aid and later discharged.
