A sudden storm in Larnaca has caused severe flooding, turning the Kamares area into a temporary lake, with footage from larnakaonline showing motorists struggling to navigate submerged roads.
The Fire Service responded to two emergency calls – one to tow a stranded vehicle and another to pump water from a basement.
While flooding affected several streets across the town, no serious incidents have been reported so far.
