The “trial” of five Greek Cypriots who are being illegally detained in the occupied areas of Cyprus continues today at 10:00am, with prosecution witnesses expected to provide testimony in the ongoing proceedings.

Today’s session is expected to feature continued witness testimony from the prosecuting authority, with two additional witnesses scheduled to appear before the military tribunal, including what is believed to be the case “investigator”.

The proceedings before the “military court” concern charges of violating the “military zone” and “illegal” entry into the occupied territories.

A separate “hearing” addressing distinct charges, including “illegal entry into property”, is scheduled to continue on Friday at the “provincial court” in Trikomo.
