Police name 48 most dangerous roads to reduce traffic deaths

Relevant News

Cyprus Police have identified 48 locations across the road network where collisions occur at an elevated rate, mapping each site based on crash data collected between 2023 and 2025.

The locations span all five districts: 19 in Nicosia, 14 in Larnaca, eight in Limassol, five in Paphos and two in Famagusta. Each site was designated as high-risk on the basis of the number of fatal, serious and other collisions recorded there per year.

Police said they have deployed increased surveillance and enforcement measures at the identified locations. All relevant authorities have also been notified so they can carry out any necessary interventions of their own.
