The Council of Ministers on Wednesday approved the donation of 70 types of pharmaceutical items worth €79,414.90 and four consumable items valued at €15,218 for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
As part of the Republic of Cyprus’s response to providing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, Cyprus has decided to contribute through the provision of medicines and consumables.
It is worth noting the additional financial assistance of 1.1 billion euros announced by the President of the Republic through the UNRWA, World Food Program (WFP), OCHA, and the ICRC during the Conference in Paris.
This funding is designated to channel humanitarian aid to the civilian population in Gaza.
