The Cyprus Consumer Association has publicised its first price evaluation based on the numbers provided by e-kalathi, the new digital platform comparing retail prices, launched on June 12th.
The best priced market emerged from the data processed by the Association for the period July 29th-August 3rd, comparing 267 product codes at five major retail sellers across the country.
Here’s what the basket looks like:
Sklavenitis: €926,52
Αthienitis: €979,49
Ιoannidis: €1.025,85
Μetro: €1.047,76
Άlpha Mega: €1.049,87.
Yesterday, Alpha Mega had 89 products on offer, Athienitis 16 and Sklavenitis 2. Out of the Alpha Mega offers however, 78 were higher than the Sklavenitis normal price and 60 higher than the Athienitis normal price.
The Consumer Association clarifies that all such price conclusions are exclusively based on e-kalathi data, noting it will continue to process and make the findings public for the sake of transparency.
