Dutch police have arrested a 26-year-old man after two people were injured in separate stabbing attacks in Rotterdam.
“A suspect, who is believed to have been travelling by car, is involved in the incidents,” Dutch police said in a social media post.
According to Rotterdam police, two men were targeted in apparently random stabbing attacks on Saturday morning, 8 August, west of the city centre.
One victim was taken to hospital, while the other was treated by emergency responders at the scene, police said.
A further attempted stabbing was reported about 30 minutes later on a bridge in the north-western part of the city.
