AKEL MEP Giorgos Georgiou has sharply criticised fellow European Parliament member Geadis Geadi for attending Donald Trump’s inauguration in the United States.
Georgiou condemned Geadis’s participation in the ceremony during an appearance on Sigma TV, after Geadis posted about the event on social media platform X.
“Congratulations to Mr Geadis, who crowded together with the rest of Trump’s fascist supporters who were called there to take part in this process”, Georgiou said sarcastically.
