Bill Clinton accuses Trump administration of ‘hiding facts’ after release of Epstein-related photos

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released thousands of pages of photos and evidence related to convicted criminal Jeffrey Epstein, including pictures of Bill Clinton with Ghislaine Maxwell and other famous figures.

The former US President reacted strongly, responding to the accusations and arguing that the release was not an attempt to protect him, but an effort by the Trump administration to conceal other evidence.

Following the circulation of the photos, Bill Clinton issued a fierce statement, declaring that the Trump administration’s actions were not about protecting him but about hiding other facts that may be revealed in the future.

Clinton’s spokesman stated: “The White House did not sit on these records for months only to release them late on a Friday and protect Bill Clinton. This is about what they are trying to hide forever.“

Clinton’s reaction focuses on the attempt to make him a scapegoat, as he accuses the real perpetrators of trying to avoid consequences. His spokesman emphasised that there is a difference between those who severed ties with Epstein when his crimes were revealed and those who continued to maintain contact with him.
